Privacy
You send us some of your most sensitive documents. This page says exactly what happens to them, in plain English. Effective 8 July 2026.
What we hold
Three things: the documents you email us (leases, demands, HMRC letters, claim files), your email address and anything you write to us, and the payment details Stripe collects (we see your name, email and the case fields you enter at checkout — never your card number).
What we do with your documents
They are used solely to produce your deliverable. They are processed using commercial AI systems as part of that work, under the human accountability described in our terms — and they are never used to train AI models. We do not sell them, share them, publish them, or use them for marketing. Anything ever published from delivered work (guidance pages, for example) is anonymised beyond recognition.
How long we keep them
Up to six months after delivery, so follow-up questions and complaints can be handled properly — then deleted. Email us to have them deleted sooner; deletion requests are actioned and confirmed.
Passwords
If you password-protect files, send the password in a separate email. Passwords are never stored alongside your documents.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of what we hold, have it corrected or deleted, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Greyledger is registered with the ICO as a data controller — fee paid July 2026; the registration number will be published here on issue.
Cookies and tracking
The site sets no cookies and runs no advertising trackers. Payment pages are hosted by Stripe, whose own privacy policy applies there.
